Shaka kaSenzangakhona of the Zulu nation 1787-1828

Voted as the 11th great South Africans,Shaka Zulu changed the Zulu tribe from a small clan into a nation that held a large proportion of Southern Africa. His military prowess and new tactics, his practice of destroying his enemies and assimilating marked him as one of the greatest Zulu chieftains.

The history of the Zulu

The history of the Zulu nation is tolled behind this man, after many years of his death people still want to know more of him, and the more he is revealed to them the more a question arises as to what kind of man was he?

King Shaka Zulu was a warrior who had a fearless spirit and when people around him didn't catch or understand the spirit or what ever he was going through.

The only way was to enforce this spirit on them, to some degree it worked, but to people who now sit and discover about him its totally an obsession of wanting to control, because he was the only King of the Zulu who lived and increased his tribe and warriors at that century.

He was a leader who changed the Zulu identity, to this day the Zulu people are known as those who hesitate not to kill because of Shaka.

Eventually Shaka Zulu grew to become what his name is and did what his name was to him.

Its unfortunate that Dingane his half brother didn't see what Shaka saw of the Zulu Kings as a successor, concerning the way he was killed, of course the saying goes like "if you kill with a spear you shall die from a spear " .

If Shaka had his ways his burial place would where he buried his mother Nandi filled with the dead bodies of the Zulu people, according to him that is how a King should be laid to rest!
