The Zulu tribe and a closer look at their Zulu distinctive language

Nguni is a collective name for a group of black speaking people belonging to the Negroid racial group in Africa. The Northern Nguni group comprises the Swazi, Zulu and Ndebele people of the highveld; and the Southern Nguni include the Xhosa, Thembu, Bomvana, Mpondo and Mpondomise.

The difference with these tribes is their language and their traditional wear especially that of women women and girls.

Zulu people

The Zulu people are a tribe belonging to the Ngunis who are divided into tribes/clans.

Zulu people speaking the same language does not mean they are of the same tribe, this depends on the surnames of the Zulu people if you are of a certain surname you obviously belong to a certain tribe lead by a certain king.

Zulu Language

Zulu is known as isiZulu, is a language the Zulu people speak, it is one of the official spoken languages in South Africa.

Zulu language is distinctive with its use of click consonants like:

• C Eceleni meaning by the side.

• Q Umqondo meaning an idea

• X Ixoxo meaning a frog

• Nc Ncane meaning small

• Gc Gcina meaning to keep something

Other language-speaking people easily adopt Zulu language, like the Congolists, German, English, Zaire, Zambia. When hearing their comments about Zulu language they say
